NiSi IRND Filters:
Provides exposure reduction and creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily.
NiSi neutral density filters are intended to not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.
The design of this filter has been optimized for use with digital sensors and to promote nearly flat attenuation of visible and infrared light.
To provide a high level of neutrality across the visible and infrared spectrums in order to eliminate color casts and ensure cleaner, truer blacks when using the NiSi Nano IRND Filter, one layer of NiSi Optical Nano Coating is applied to each of this filter's surfaces.
NiSi Polarizer:
Helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface.
The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze
NiSi Black Mist 1/8:
Reduces highlights, lowers contrast and softens wrinkles and blemishes.
Many strategies have been developed for softening or diffusing images to create that special “atmosphere” by softening excess sharpness and contrast.
The Black Mist filter is the one you should choose when you have highlights in the picture.
NiSi Pure Clear Filter:
High-quality glass assures that the inclusion of this filter in your lens path will not adversly affect your shots.
