SmallRig 5823 Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30
The modular NATO rail on top is compatible with SmallRig’s NATO top handles and monitor mounts, but can also be removed for use with Sony’s original XLR top handle.
The cage features multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes and locating holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a NATO rail - supporting expansion of accessories like monitor mounts and side handles.
Additionally, a built-in cold shoe mount accommodates microphones or lights for added functionality.
The base features a QD socket for QD shoulder straps and includes a magnetic flat wrench for easy assembly.
The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom ensures compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, enabling seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations.
Finally, the included HDMI cable clamp securely holds cable connections for stable data transmission, while the ergonomic top handle features a non-slip silicone coating for a comfortable grip, making your shooting experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Note:
- The NATO rail features 1/4"-20 threaded holes with 27mm spacing - it’s incompatible with accessories requiring 18mm spacing.
